Hamster chewing hole in plastic cage? - anyone else problems plastic clips clip-on hat flashlights
I Hamsters my grandchildren, I got a new big cage that the former was bought broken, it has a wheel, a swing and chew some hay. In one week, he had chewed a small hole in the side of the cage, where the cover clips. I am afraid it is the hole bigger, and the time to escape. Since we have 3 cats, I am a bit worried - I was putting vinegar in the cage, hoping to discourage them, but when it dries it again - I know hamsters chew, but I wondered if else someone has a solution for this problem?

I think that manufacturers of products for pets waiting actually not these things, and we have to buy more. Yes, watch those plastic crates color, cut and fun. The pipes are an adventure for the mind. (The children love the idea of racing through the tunnel, and we're all big kids) ... and cleaning of the tunnel fun is anything but funny!
And we, as adults, are misled into thinking in one of the kits with the best value, easy and cheap - like a fast food mystery.
But the reality is up to that. Lunch is not free and there is no single simple solution. I feel the best way to keep the smaller rodents, to clean the maintenance of a simple way to the aquarium with a tight cover.
